Minimum requirements:

i686 Processor (Intel or AMD i686 compatible processors)
256Mb RAM
8 GB of free space
X.Org supported 2D GPU
DVD reader

Optimal requirements:

Dual Core Processor (Intel or AMD dual core or better compatible processors)
1024Mb RAM
20 GB or more of free space
X.Org supported 3D GPU
DVD reader

Known issues

You are encouraged to test and comment on this beta-release. Feedback should be posted in the form of bug reports to our forums.

  • When using Automatic partition on installer grub doesn't setup correctly
  • Couple of errors messages at boot
  • Binary mirrors not fully loaded with packages
  • MIME Types, File associations not configured correctly in gnome and firefox
  • Users cannot update or upgrade using Sulfur, because mirrors doesn't contain packages "this will be available in our next beta"
